Wee Wisdom is proud to be one of only a few licensed day care centers in Indiana that offers a separate Nursery School Program in a separate portion of the building. Wee Wisdom Nursery School has a specialized, licensed teaching staff for each age group. All of our teachers are licensed by the state of Indiana and hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Development, or both. Some teachers also have Kindergarten endorsements.

Each nursery school class is academically based and goal-oriented. Our curriculum is designed by our director and is based on a continuum of skill acquisitions beginning at age 2 and continuing through the pre-school years.

“Our primary focus is on preparing each child for a successful transition into kindergarten. Leadership roles are established very early in school, often as early as kindergarten. The best gift we can give our students is a head start on success in school by ensuring that they start kindergarten as leaders. When they walk into their kindergarten classroom on the first day of school, I want them to be on top of the world… confident in themselves and in what they are able to accomplish. Because Wee Wisdom’s Nursery School employs only licensed, experienced, and goal-oriented teachers, we are able to boost a child’s self confidence, self concept, and overall attitude toward learning. We are not a play school. Our classes operate very much like a kindergarten classroom.
